Today, DAV Public School, Sector 3, commemorated Lala Lajpat Rai Jayanti with a vibrant and inspiring program. Our talented students delivered powerful speeches, captivating dances, heartfelt poems, and compelling acts, all honoring the legacy of the “Lion of Punjab.”
In addition to this, students were also educated about Martyrs’ Day (Shaheedi Diwas), observed on January 30th to honor the memory of Mahatma Gandhi, who was assassinated on this day in 1948. They learnt about Gandhi Ji’s profound contributions to India’s independence and his unwavering commitment to non-violence and truth.The performances of students not only showcased their skills but also instilled a deep sense of patriotism and respect for our nation’s history. The event was a memorable tribute to these two great freedom fighters of India.
